★★★★★
"
I started my first job at a retina practice three weeks after finishing IndieView Academy. I already knew what OCT was, I understood the injection visit workflow, and I could follow the physician's dictation without stopping to ask what every term meant. My supervisor said I was the most prepared new hire they'd had in years.

I was a medical assistant transitioning into ophthalmology and had no idea what I was walking into. This course gave me the vocabulary and the confidence. The scribing module alone was worth the entire price — I understood what the physician was doing and could keep up on day one.

The cataract surgery module completely changed how I understood what we were doing pre-op. I was taking A-scan measurements without really knowing why. After this course I understood the entire IOL calculation pathway. It made me so much more careful and precise.

Important Notice Regarding Certification & Clinical Practice
IndieView Academy is a foundational training program and is not a substitute for JCAHPO certification (COA, COT, or COMT), formal clinical training, or licensure of any kind. Completion does not qualify you to perform clinical procedures or independently operate ophthalmic equipment. Many practices require formal JCAHPO credentialing. Students are encouraged to pursue official certification through JCAHPO to meet employer and clinical standards.
